In partnership with Tate, CHAGEE’s new limited-edition release pairs a thoughtfully crafted tea blend with an exclusive merchandise collection inspired by famous still-life paintings.

A cup of tea has long been more than just a simple beverage — it has been a symbol steeped in history, tradition, and connection. This month, CHAGEE celebrates its rich heritage through a partnership with the UK’s renowned Tate for a limited offering: the Apple English Breakfast Tea. Accompanying this new creation is a curated merchandise collection that thoughtfully bridges the worlds of teas, apples, and timeless arts together. &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;

Drawing inspiration from three iconic still-life paintings from Tate’s storied collection, the partnership reimagines everyday objects with a fresh artistic perspective, reinforcing the drink brand’s continued commitment to creating experiences that extend beyond the beverage itself, where exceptional craftsmanship, meaningful storytelling, and elevated design are instilled in every detail.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The base for the Apple English Breakfast Tea is a meticulously crafted blend of five premium teas across Asia. India’s Assam provides the foundation by bringing a malty richness, while Fujian’s Lapsang Souchong introduces subtle pine-smoked notes, and the Yunnan Golden Pekoe matches it with velvety depth.&nbsp;
On the other hand, Taiwan’s Four Seasons Spring softens the blend with a floral character, and the Highland Qilan from Fujian finishes it with a delicate orchid aroma. Each tea is individually roasted and processed before being precisely combined, which preserves every leaf’s distinct character.&nbsp;

Further elevating the blend, Red Fuji apples sourced from Shandong, China, are also added to balance the bold flavors with natural sweetness. Processed through whole-fruit cold extraction with no added water, sugar, or preservatives, the apple juice is then infused directly into the tea leaves and vacuum-dried to preserve all the flavors — resulting in a smooth, fragrant tea that pairs the complexity of English breakfast with the brightness of apples.&nbsp;

More than a new flavor launch, the partnership between CHAGEE and Tate extends to an exclusive merchandise collection inspired by three iconic still-life masterpieces from the distinguished art institution: Henri Fantin-Latour’s A Plate of Apples, Paul Cézanne’s Still Life with Water Jug, and Mark Gertler’s The Basket of Fruit. Although each art showcases a different movement and period, together they demonstrate how a familiar object can take on a new meaning through perspective and time.&nbsp;
With this, the artworks come to life through everyday essentials and collectible pieces, including limited-edition cups, insulated carrier bags, keepsake magnets, artist shawls, blankets, umbrellas, and a picnic mat (which is a CHAGEE App Activities Exclusive).&nbsp;

The partnership also holds a deeper purpose, as it goes beyond the tea and art with a shared dedication to cultural preservation. Through this year-long undertaking, CHAGEE will be supporting Tate’s Paper &amp; Photography Conservation Work, helping protect works of art in the museum’s national collection for generations to come.
