The queens are back, and Filipino fans were beyond thrilled to see their idols performing together in Manila last November 16 and 17 for an unforgettable weekend. Sometimes it's cliched to say there isn't a dull moment when you love what you're doing or watching, but that's exactly how the concert transpired. Every moment was exploding with energy. But that's 2NE1 for you. CL, Dara, Minzy, and Park Bom wouldn't have it any other way.&nbsp;

They opened with the hit track, Fire, dancing and spitting verses in front of a large-scale animation of blazing fire. It's an instant reminder of who they are. They're not your usual idols. They mean business. Plus, YG has always kept it this way. Their talents always keep their edge, which makes their music and personalities shine bright. Once, this was established, the foursome continued with their set list comprised of 21 songs. It's hard to pick highlights because they packed so much punch in each second. I Don't Care is as nostalgic as ever; its positivity and carefree lyrics gave the audience a boost of lighthearted empowerment. They sandwiched their dancy tunes with ballads such as Lonely and Ugly. But they always picked up the rhythm and pace by playing their rap-infused bangers.&nbsp;

Blackjacks couldn't contain their excitement, and their supportive screams dominated the Mall of Asia Arena. They demanded repeatedly, "Album! Album! Album!" Dara advised that the fans should write to YG while CL quipped how they really came to make them work, but that it's all well under consideration. The screams naturally got louder at this point. No wonder the tickets for the two-day concert sold out immediately.&nbsp;
It's all worth it. After all, it's been years since they last performed in the Philippines. What could be better than playing I Am the Best to celebrate their 15th Anniversary?&nbsp;

There were tears and laughter, but most importantly, there was optimism in the air. Blackjacks were filled with a renewed sense of hope that they would see 2NE1 more in the future. However, they also couldn't help but worry for Park Bom who had to take breaks in between songs.&nbsp;
Despite this, she managed to showcase her beautiful voice, and even sang to Dara's Tagalog song, In or Out. Dara, as always, was super sweet as she thanked her fans and wished they could be together forever.&nbsp;
Both a professional anniversary and a personal celebration, the 2NE1 Welcome Back concert may be huge, but it felt intimate for the fans. It's a reunion with people they grew up with, soundtracked by songs that will always be etched in their hearts.&nbsp;
