"Looking beyond the surface. I guess. I'm attracted to beauty. That's why I'm in this industry of beauty and fashion and commercial. But I think female gaze is more than just that. In relation to what I do, which is taking pictures, more than hoping to make the subjects feel beautiful as I take pictures of them. I also hope that when the viewers see the portraits that I took, I hope that they would see power and grace."

"It matters to me that they genuinely like my outputs and what do. Hindi lang dahil getting me just because I'm a female.Because before, noong nagsa-start pa lang ako, I would get comments na dadating ako sa shoot and then, oh babae pala yung photographer. It's like 10 years ago, hindi pa ganoon kadami yung female photographers."

"I think it's very important to include women kasi we take up space. And it's important for younger generation to see that there's a path like this and we exist.Kasi growing up, with my background, my family, parang walang masyadong creatives sa amin. So parang, I had to make my own path. So it would have been nicer if I saw na ang dami din palang same na female photographers growing up."
