The Italian fashion house introduces Alta, 10 eaux de parfum that weave Italian and global ingredients into a “scented Intrecciato,” tracing the light and moods of a day.

Bottega Veneta has unveiled a new fragrance collection, Alta, comprising 10 eaux de parfum. The fragrances trace a journey from the brightness and clarity of morning, through intimate moments close to the skin, to the warmth and depth of night. Each reveals a different expression, as if responding to the changing light of the day and shifts in one’s state of mind.
While the fragrance collection introduced in 2025 took the traditions of Venice, the Maison’s birthplace, as its starting point, Alta broadens its gaze across Italy and out into the world. By bringing together cultures and memories from different places, the collection expresses a new vision of Italy through scent, one that goes beyond preconceived ideas.

At the heart of the collection is the concept of the “Intrecciato Duo.” Ingredients from Italy, where Bottega Veneta has its roots, are paired with ingredients selected from around the world, weaving two distinct characters into a single fragrance, much like the Maison’s signature Intrecciato.
The lightness of citrus and aromatic notes meets the warmth of woods and resins. Contrasting sensations of freshness and richness coexist without cancelling each other out. There is also the unexpected sweetness of stracciatella, reminiscent of milky vanilla and chocolate, further freeing the idea of what an “Italian fragrance” can be.

The collection begins with three fragrances that evoke vivid light.
Always Now layers the fresh scent of Italian basil with the refined depth of Vetiver Bourbon essence from Madagascar. Beneath its crisp freshness lies a sense of calm, drawing awareness back to the present moment.
Inspired by the garden of Bottega Veneta’s atelier in the Veneto region, Montebello brings together the brightness of blood orange and the delicate depth of neroli from North Africa. In Balliamo, American cedarwood quietly supports the rich scent of Italian white fig, evoking a warm summer evening.

As the light softens, the fragrances gradually move closer to the skin.
Bare Morning combines the powdery softness of Italian talc with the refined warmth of sandalwood from Oceania, creating a scent that feels like a touch against bare skin. In Slow Rise, late-summer rose and French clary sage slowly bloom, guided by the warmth of the body.
Ricordami awakens memories of childhood. The milky sweetness of stracciatella ice cream is layered with oakwood, bringing an unexpected stillness into a sense of innocence.

As night approaches, the fragrances take on a richer character. Moment After envelops Italian leather in the smooth warmth of vanilla, expressing a restrained sensuality.
In Night Sounds, Italian saffron and Vietnamese benzoin create a warm, resinous trail. Velvet Steps surrounds the syrup-like sweetness of Italian plum with the rich scent of Spanish labdanum.
Closing the collection is Crepuscolo, which contrasts the refreshing saltiness of fior di sale with the depth of South Asian oud. Like twilight, when the boundary between day and night begins to blur, brightness and darkness, lightness and weight, melt into one.

Bottega Veneta’s craftsmanship also lives in the bottles that hold the fragrances.
The sculptural glass surface reinterprets the diagonal rhythm created by the Intrecciato weave. The wooden cap and gold-finished ring incorporate inspiration drawn from Venetian architecture and the meticulous workmanship of fine jewelry. While maintaining a visual connection with the existing fragrance collection, the design gives Alta a presence of its own.

Made with recycled glass, the refillable bottles are available in 50ml and 100ml sizes. They will be sold alongside specially made Intrecciato leather accessories at Bottega Veneta stores and major department stores around the world.
Selecting ingredients from different places, respecting their individual character, and weaving them together into a single form: even as the Maison shifts its field of expression from leather to fragrance, what remains consistent is Bottega Veneta’s long-cultivated approach to craftsmanship.
