Few artists bridge creativity and influence quite like Jelly Eugenio. Crowned as 2025&rsquo;s ultimate collaboration muse, he&rsquo;s reshaping the landscape of beauty partnerships with a vision rooted in inclusivity and artistry.

Jelly Eugenio is redefining the art of makeup collaborations in 2025, making him a standout choice for this year&rsquo;s Beauty A-Z. With three successful partnerships under his belt &mdash; Vice x Jelly, MAC Cosmetics, and Sola &mdash; he&rsquo;s proven that his influence extends beyond the brush. &ldquo;I want to create products that are usable for any skin type,&rdquo; he says, highlighting his commitment to inclusivity. Currently, he&rsquo;s developing a line that encompasses foundations, powders, and concealers tailored to Filipino skin tones. His vision is clear: &ldquo;Eventually, all of my supporters will have kits filled with products I&rsquo;ve approved or collaborated on.&rdquo; Eugenio&rsquo;s collaborations are about creating a legacy that empowers both consumers and aspiring makeup artists. His dedication to quality and accessibility positions him as a key figure in the evolving beauty landscape.
Here, he talks to L&rsquo;Officiel Philippines about his past and future collaborations and what makes these partnerships meaningful.

Hi Jelly! Congrats on the multiple collaborations! Can you enumerate the collabs you&rsquo;ve done so far?&nbsp;
So far, I think I have three &mdash; Vice X Jelly, the first one. Then I have a second one coming out, and I also did MAC Cosmetics, and Sola. So those are three brands, but I have two more confirmed, and I&rsquo;m currently processing two more.
We&rsquo;re in talks, we&rsquo;re in negotiations, because of course, the products cannot overlap. And again, as I mentioned before, my plan with all of the makeup is to have all the categories of makeup filled in &mdash; just with different brands. That way, every brand has a chance to shine in that category, or they can release a product that is approved or created by a makeup artist.
That&rsquo;s really my goal: that eventually, all of my supporters &mdash; or anyone who likes to purchase the products I promote &mdash; when they open their kits, all the products inside are &ldquo;Jelly-approved,&rdquo; made by me, collaborated with me, or recommended by me.
You&rsquo;ve collaborated with some incredible beauty brands &mdash; what qualities do you look for in a brand before saying yes to a partnership?
With the quality, of course, they have to be good at what they do, because I think a lot of people say I can be hard to work with since I have standards. And for them to be at par with that standard I have, they really need to be good at what they do. So they have to be excellent in marketing, and the quality of the product has to be amazing, of course.
I&rsquo;m very thankful that I was also trusted by MAC Cosmetics in the Philippines to do the kit. That was a big honor for me because, growing up, MAC was one of my hero brands. It didn&rsquo;t just represent makeup or something you put on your face &mdash; it represented hope, dreams, aspirations, individuality, everything.
MAC is like the number one makeup brand in the world, I think, so that was a huge honor for me.

Of all the collaborations you&rsquo;ve done so far, which one felt the most personal or aligned with your artistry, and why?
The most personal one, I would say, would be, of course, Vice X Jelly, because that is, like, my child. That&rsquo;s my brainchild. I really thought about that, and it&rsquo;s like &mdash; well, not exactly a prototype &mdash; but I was really condensing my kit and thought, how helpful would it be if people could get smaller sizes of makeup that are still complete?
Like, when they open it, everything is there. I don&rsquo;t think I&rsquo;ve seen anything quite like it. There could be palettes that are all powders, or a mix of cream and powder, but nothing where you can really do a full makeup look using just one kit.
So I was really excited when that launched &mdash; it felt like I gave birth to something that didn&rsquo;t exist in the world yet. Something like that, something like that.
If you could co-create a makeup product from scratch, what would it be and what signature Jelly Eugenio touch would it have?
To co-create a new product is quite challenging because most products already exist. Sometimes, brands just tweak them a little, but essentially, everything is already out there. It really comes down to innovation &mdash; and that depends on the laboratories and manufacturers.
They&rsquo;re the ones who truly make things possible. Of course, we can have all the ideas, but we need good partners to bring them to life. Right now, I&rsquo;m in the process of tackling what I think is the hardest part: complexion.
That includes foundations, powders, concealers, and correctors. I&rsquo;m slowly working my way into it because it&rsquo;s very technical and quite difficult. And of course, we can&rsquo;t please everyone &mdash; everyone has a different skin tone and skin type.
That&rsquo;s what I&rsquo;ve been focusing most of my time on lately. I really want to create products that work well for all skin types.
So wish me luck! If it&rsquo;s something new, I don&rsquo;t think it&rsquo;ll be from scratch, because again, these formulas already exist &mdash; it&rsquo;s just about making the right adjustments so that they better suit Filipino skin tones and types.
Looking ahead, are there any dream brands or designers you&rsquo;d love to collaborate with on a campaign or collection?
So far, I was very happy when MAC tapped me. But I don&rsquo;t think it&rsquo;s really like a brand I represent &mdash; I just really want to represent the Philippines on a global stage. I haven&rsquo;t thought about that deeply yet, but even just to be a makeup artist representing a brand, let&rsquo;s say for New York Fashion Week, that would be amazing.
Or to do any sort of show or awards night sponsored by a brand, whether from here or abroad &mdash; that would be really, really nice. I&rsquo;m actually ready to expand my horizons when it comes to makeup, because I think I&rsquo;ve pretty much dominated the local brands, especially with everything I&rsquo;m doing right now.
All the collaborations aren&rsquo;t done yet &mdash; it&rsquo;s going to continue until next year, or probably for two more years. But yeah, I think I&rsquo;m also ready to work abroad.
Beyond collaborations, what are your bigger dreams as a makeup artist &mdash; whether it&rsquo;s mentoring the next generation, starting your own line, or breaking into new creative fields?
I&rsquo;m really passionate about teaching. More than creating a makeup line under my name, I think teaching is where my heart truly is. I don&rsquo;t think I could handle the pressure and stress of running a full makeup line right now. But teaching? That&rsquo;s something I&rsquo;m very passionate about, and I believe I&rsquo;m really good at it.
So maybe in the future, I&rsquo;d love to open a makeup school &mdash; somewhere anyone can go to learn everything from the basics to professional and advanced techniques.
For now, I&rsquo;m really enjoying creating videos and photos. That&rsquo;s another outlet for me to express my creativity beyond makeup &mdash; it&rsquo;s like my little directorial debut moments. I&rsquo;ve done some really fun projects, like the iconic Halloween video Disco Heaven with my girls &mdash; Catriona, Nadine, and the rest. That was such an exciting experience.
Maybe I&rsquo;ll do more of that soon when I have more time, after all this makeup craze. But I think that&rsquo;s where I&rsquo;ll be focusing next. Still, everything I do will always revolve around beauty.
I think that&rsquo;s all I can say for now.
